Tomorrow Tomorrow....

Oh how I can't wait for tomorrow... It's only a day aaawwwaaayyyy.  As you can see how EXCITED I am that I'm going to see my dad for the first time since July 2009. I've missed him so stinking much. It sucks that I don't get to talk or/and see him as often as other. Since he pretty much lives on the other side of the world... But anyways my father is coming to visit us for a week. I know there will be a slight chance I'm going to get annooyeed of him after 3 or 4 days. Since Jon and my father loves to drink and crack jokes on me every chance they get. Which puts me in a grumpy mood. But I know I will forever be a daddy's girl. :) It sucks that my mom can't come to visit since my Aj still has school and my dad is only coming because he has some ball/class thing for his MOS. I really don't know. But hopefully I will get to visit my family in S.Korea sooon. Thats if I have that money to spend on a ticket.
We are going to do a ton of things. Which I'm excited about. Plus a BBQ on Saturday. =) Im going to make spinach artichoke dip and Mandiy potatoe recpie. =)

There yah go! Saranghaeyo means 'I love you' in Korean.

I don't know if there is something in the Jacksonville water. But I've lately I've been having such a HUGE sweet tooth. Also I've been eating cheese, crackers, grapes, and strawberries all together. Jon thinks I'm prego; and thinks I should take a test. Boy the look I gave him made him think twice. I know I'm not pregnant and I know my body 1984398439 times better then Jon and anyone else.

Anyways; I've been obsessed with baking. YES; baking. I remember when I was younger.  I used to bake all the time with my mom and when Jon and I had our first home. We made a dozen of things like upside down pineapple cake, cupcakes, muffins and soooo much more. Now that I've been introduced to Bakerella.com I've been baking like I could own my very own bakery. Hmmmm I wonder what I could call it. Sarang Bakery??? Sarang means 'love' in Korean. I remember the first time Jon said "I love you" to me. We went to Myrtle Beach for day trip and was laying out on the beach and soaking up the sun... It was so cute and funny. I still smile till this day when I think about it. How he tucked my hair behind my ear and whispered into my ear saying  'Saranghaeyo'.  He's so stinking cute. lol.

Another thing that I've been obsessed with is Summer Rolls. It's a Vietnamese style dish. Some people eat it as a snack, main meal, or a appetizer. But I've been eating it as a meal. It's very very healthy for you and a good diet food. My mom swears to me up and down that she lost weight eating this and not fat food. lol

This is what they look like. That brown stuff is peanut sauce that you can eat with it. But Cheryl eats it with Soy Sauce and I eat it with a mixture of this spicy sriracha sauce, three crabs fish sauce mint leaves, and jalapenos. You can get the sriracha sauce from wal-mart in the 'Asian' section. There are many ways to make this and you can just sipmly google it.  We usually use lettece, cucumbers, rice noodles, shrimp, crab meat, mint leaves, and little beef pieces. Trust me ya'll would LOVE it. You can get the rice nododles and rice paper at your local Asian Market. We have one here in Jacksonville off of Western... I hope you try them out and ENJOY :)
My new favorite yummmy dessert is Strawberry Short Cake. Let me tell you. Its heaven in your mouth. I also made a Banana Nut Bread last night and added a few things here and there and its soooooo freaking AMAZING. Just thought I share..
Well; it's almost 2:30pm and I need to get off and get ready so Jon and I can go to Tire Country to get another effin tire.

Happpppyyy Birthday to ME =)

I am still at awe that I am 22 years old.... I feel kind of old (sorry to the others that is 22+ I'm really not trying to be mean...)  Anyways what I mean is that time is flying by super fast and honestly I am not liking it one bit... I mean I've been here in this lame town for a year now... A freaking year! Which I am not a huge fan of.... But hopefully Jon will get stationed somewhere nice like ahem Hawaii or Oki and hopefully the Allens can join us as well. I love them to death. Best married couple ever.

Anywho; My mom told me I'm getting old and I should watch out for fine lines and grey hair. :/ and she also said I'm always going to be young. In her cute adorable Korean accent.... ha ha ha... She always thinks that she is going to be that 21 yr old woman forever even in her 40's/

Well; for my birthday on April 10. I didn't do much durnig the day time because Jon treated me like a queen. :) He made me a cake and I was over his shoulders the entire time and telling him "No don't mix it like that" or "Why are you cracking the eggs like that" "You can re uses that measuring cup!!!! Don't waste stuff" and I just throw my hands in the air because I am so FRUSTRATED with him when it comes to cooking. lol

OHHH!!! How can I forget... Earlier that morning. I was bawling my eyes out because someone decided to mess up my tire... It was some idot guy in Jon's old unit that dislikes me because Jon and I had issues in the past... Also how I am wayyy closer to Cheryl  then his wife Amy. It's just High School  drama. HE said that he didn't do it and blah blah blah.. But I know that turd nugget did it as well everyone else. Because he is the only one that we know that has the tool to mess up the tire...  But thank goodness I had my friends and my pooh bear by myside to keep me happy.. Jon fixed the tire :) But we had to buy a new one yesterday because it gave out on me..

But at least I had a really good birthday ;)  I went our with my two good friends and had sooo much fun...

I am due for an update... I've been extremly busy with work, school, baking and cooking new things. As well trying to shed a few pounds off before summer rolls around. So the gym is my second home... I've lost a few inches and my clothes fits a little bit better but I'm still a fatty. As we speak I have a slice of cake sitting right next to me... :(
So a few days ago I went to the meet and greet for 1/8.... It went well not a lot happened they had an OPEN BAR!!! lol.  I meet a few wives and they were extremly nice. We ate dinner and played a few card games at this one couples house yesterday and I made this oh so yummy Triple Chocolate Trifle. I will post pictures toward the end.
Jon gave me flowers!!! Yup! I know!!! Weird... I'm still questioning him today if he did something wrong. lol
